Finnish American musician and researcher, Devina Boughton will speak and perform on July 14, 2025 at Suomi Hall: 244 West marine Drive, Astoria, OR.

She will share community stories she has gathered as a researcher in Finland and the United States; in addition she will perform Finnish-American folk music on the trumpet and puusarvi (buckhorn), and in song.

No charge for admission. Donations are gladly accepted and appreciated.


Our Purpose

Our purpose is to share and preserve Finnish contributions and cultural life by providing educational, arts and crafts activities in our community by welcoming all to Suomi Hall, by celebrating and sharing our rich Finnish culture and heritage.
